Ingredients

  • Carrots 400 g
  • Flour 350 g
  • Chicken eggs 4 pieces
  • Sugar 200 g
  • Salt 0.25 tsp
  • Dough leavening agent 1 tsp
  • Ground cinnamon 1 tsp
  • Vegetable oil 200 ml
  • Walnuts 200 g
  • Powdered sugar (for sprinkling) – 1 tbsp

A step -by -step recipe for cooking

Rinse the carrots, dry and grate on a fine grater.

Dry the walnuts for a couple of minutes in a pan and chop in a blender.

Mix sifted flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, nuts and cinnamon.

In a separate container, mix carrots, vegetable oil and slightly beaten eggs.

Pour the resulting mass into a dry workpiece and knead well. The dough should turn out to be moderately thick.

Put the dough in a form covered with baking paper.

Bake 40 minutes in a preheated oven. Depending on the thickness of the cake and the features of the oven, time may change a little.

Remove the cake from the oven and leave for 10 minutes in shape.
